Saturday morning Cricket fever :)

Cricket is one thing u just can't avoid :)
Once u r in corporate life, ur priority changes...cricket latter and good late sleep on Saturday and Sunday morning is former...but friends do change every general rule and I am glad it happens
So plan was all set Saturday.. morning 6:30 am at a ground near Alley's place Shanky, Ravi,I,Alley and his Bro were all supposed to meet. I slept early at 12:30 on Friday but didn't set up the alarm for 6:00...I had ask Alok and Shanky to call me and wake me up..as there's always a possibility that they might not be able to wake up and I continue sleeping :)
Shanky called me up in the morning and I freshened up to meet them up at the ground. By the time we reached the ground Alok already arranged for a match with some other group. Match started and we had to bowl first...we started our bowling really well..even I today bowled pretty nicely in the right areas but stuck to Alley's idea of bowling with short run up. We restricted them for just 41 in 10 overs..very good effort considering the short boundaries..
Shanky and I opened the innings and I made sure that I don't waste more than 1 delivery in joining back my team mates back..I was out on the 1st ball :( .We played well but fell short 5 runs..anyways it was good fun...
2nd match we were fielding first again...this time the bowling effort was little bit poor and the opponents application was better..end result they scored 61..I decided not to open this time just thinking to save myself for later stages...but u know some days r not meant to be out there and blast...i was back ending the day with 2 ducks...lets wait and watch tomorrow...its gonna be different tomorrow :)
signing off for today

Time to leave Infy :(

September 19th 2005 ...the day I joined Infy family...
I still remember the first night I was in Infy mysore campus. A golf cart approached the huge gate and my bags were loaded on it and I with a friend of mine, Anubhav, who also joined Infy on that same day were awestruck to look at the campus...lights all around ...beautiful roads being washed with surf at that time...people roaming around laughing ..having a good time. For a moment we thought we are in heaven :)....My training period started with that grand welcome..
Made loads of friends in my batch..we used to play TT...study till midnight..wash clothes at 5:00 am morning...almost an extension of college life only thing was we were also being paid for it :)
Training ended and now it was time to dirty our hands...I joined FACTS team in Bangalore. In Infy u never stop learning ...an IT (Information Tech) student was given J2EE training and was made to work in Mainframes in his first project :) . Its always interesting to learn new things and I was up for the challenge. I was doing ok ok in FACTS and suddenly DCM came into picture and I was put in it. DCM, my second project, my current project and my last project is a part I am gonna miss badly. I learned so many things here...got back to Java...made some of my best friends here...Shanky, Deep, Krishna, Aravind, Saket, Kunal sir and basically the whole floor was a family :)
things were pretty smooth and fun but suddenly "the Onsite fruit" never seem to be in my reach. 3 H1 failures and finally the last nail in the coffin, my L1 Rejection, left me with no hopes... :(
Got an offer at Amdocs Pune and grabbed it with both hands...the package is better and may be an Onsite chance :D...lets see I have my fingers crossed

I am gonna miss....
Bangalore..Garden city which is blessed with the best weather u can wish for...
Aaryna...the Daaru ka adda..where the whole gang beats all the singers of bollywood...Kunal sir's fav Miss chatterjee :)
Cricket Flash game...I have to admit Alley(Alok) is a fighter specially when he plays against me...my adorable (if..but..only) opponent in Cricket game...That 20 mins of flash games gives me a mental beating...he is tough to beat.
My Cubicle...I have the best place in the whole floor..and people are envy of it :) ...I m planning to auction it..but u know what my cubicle is the Best because of its members...the fun we have makes the whole floor alive...
Ravi...his shyari is pathetic..but sketches...man he is bond...
Mukta...Very plain and simple guy and good at heart..appreciates ppl candidly..also intelligent....
Shanky, mera bhai....he is everything u could wish for in an Ideal person..I am gonna miss u dude..u'll get ur visa and AMPF needs u.. :)
Deep baba..not a member of our cubicle but is always around...Deewaron ke kaan ka pata nahi but his ears are always on ...very good at heart..deep bhi bhai hai ...any gal will wish for such an guy(he appreciates them all) :)
Krishna...Gem at heart...Ladkiyon ka kar deta hai but literally iski pakka fategi :)...Krishna now for u ...the worst part is that...I will miss making fun of u...but u know what I never meant ny of that...u r good and just believe in that.....How do u know Krish (the Risk Ranjith) is not in form..when he eats only one meal at a time :)

Guys I have written this blog before leaving and will give u all the link...maybe I can't share it in my presence....I love u all and will miss u soooooooooo much... :(

Kunal sir ko bata dena ki main Onsite ki daaru party dunga :)

India succumbs to pressure from Aussies

6th ODI at Guwahati and India were beaten comprehensively in all departments by Aussies in a match which was must win for India to stay in the series. :(
India would think that they were little bit unlucky the whole series...
Dhoni never won the toss earlier in the series to give his batsmen a chance to for the run fest...and he won it today just to get the inswings outswings from Aussies bowlers..
Only respite for the viewers in the Stadium, at home or at the terrace of buildings near by Guwahati stadium was Praveen Kumar (no no I m not the same Praveen Kumar who showed why its important to play straight in any situation) ... hitting important boundaries at the end and making sure the viewers do a adjust madii even after loosing the match..
Jadeja made a gritty fifty but couldn't continue...I believe he has a knack of giving away his wicket at the right time :)
Harbhajan never looked any threat to Aussies the whole series...oops I m wrong he sure was a threat when he and Praveen kumar almost pulled off a great victory in the first match...
Yuvi...I believe is one of the dependable batsmen we have now and he disappointed us ...
Slower deliveries from Aussies fast bowlers were matching the fast bowls from our top pacers..

Its ok ...I know we'll pull back and show that we still have the Killing instinct to win crucial matches....

I am writing this post watching the match (match's not yet over) ...but can't help it need to share my disappointment we rest of u out there...
